Microdermabrasion is a skin resurfacing treatment that removes the topical layers of the skin using microscopic diamond particles and carefully applied pressure. By repeating this treatment over several weeks or months it improves skin tone, helps reduce scarring, facial lines, minimizes pore size, and stimulates collagen production.

Six treatments are recommended for optimal results. Our Microdermabrasion system is aluminum crystal free.

Microdermabrasion FAQ's

Q. What is Microdermabrasion?
A. Our Microdermabrasion System is a crystal-free, controlled skin resurfacing treatment that removes the uppermost layers of the skin- stratum corneum. Using diamond tipped wands to gently exfoliate the top layers of the skin and at the same time vacuum the dead skin cells away in a sterile and controlled manner. It stimulates new, fresh cells to mature faster and take their place, creating a fresh "polished" appearance of the skin. Microdermabrasion can be done by itself, as an addition to other skin treatments, or as a series of treatments.

Q. What results can you expect?
A. It is a great treatment to refresh and bring a healthy glow back to your skin. A dull complexion will have a healthier appearance and rough skin will be considerably smoother and softer. It can help with reduction of hyperpigmentation, however, this may require additional use of a skin bleaching agent. With a series of treatments, it can help to improve some visible signs of aging by stimulating production of new cells and skin firming collagen. Microdermabrasion improves skin tone, helps with facial fine lines, wrinkles, improves acne scars, minimizes pore size and allows skin care products to penetrate deeper.

Q. How long do the treatments take?
A. The procedure generally takes 30-45 minutes. A complimentary consultation is recommended prior to treatment for first time clients. If you want to schedule a Customized Facial that includes Microdermabrasion you will need 1 hour for your service.
